Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. Its time to spice up your wordrobe, with some of the hotest trends of 2008. Shopping Indie and handmade is economical and it helps against sweatshops. Or if you are like me, I look for original one of kind fashions that suit my taste.
For Spring/ Summer 2008 we can expect to see lots of feminine dressing, thin belts, head scarves, pencil skirts much like the vintage 1940's style, and the Maxi dress. Neutral colors as well as bright bold colors. Fashion takes an exotic turn with an explosion of tribal looking clothes and accessories. Pants are wide and comfortable, skirts are loose and long. If you are afraid of a whole tribal look you can keep it minimal by dressing up neutral colors with tribal accessories. Head scarves and hippie chick headbands are great to keep flyaways tamed, and to dress up your spring/summer hairdo. Clutches are perfect for carrying essentials, but large totes and oversized bags make a fashion statement.
